My name is Kanes Tadrod My nickname is Big. I'm a Thai exchange student in Indonesia at UPGRIS University and I'm bringing this blog to share my experience there.
This picture on my first day at UPGRIS University.
On the first day when we were led to the airport, we had a warm welcome from the university and a buddy friend They took care of us and took us on the bus to the university. We had to go on a university tour and enter our dormitory.
First day at school
My NRRU friends and I went to school by taking a bus from school to university. It took less than 30 minutes. When we got to school We met the teacher there and The students were so happy to see us when we attended their Independence Day.{The teachers and students are very kind in there.}
First week at school
In the first week school doesn't have a teaching, SMP 2 SEMARANG has Independence Day. The school have activity like an Indonesian food competition with yellow rice and some activity are the same in Thailand such as a singing competition, sack running sport (There are bags to cover the legs.) and basketball sport

Imagine that we join a singing competition at the Singing competition committee.
Pedagogical Contents
When I observed my teacher major and my teacher major name is Nana and I call her Bu Nana because Bu mean like Mrs.
in Indonesia.In the second week, I observed and entered the class, Mrs.Nana led the students to pray 5 minutes after finishing a prayer. Mrs.Nana let's me introduce myself to the students and students asked me many things like why you come to observed in this class or about Thailand about 10-15 minutes and Mrs.Nana get starts the lesson arithmetic series
with problem-based learning on the Projector Mrs.Nana does not get much time with Teach lectures like the teacher in Thailand and the main of class is a group work and activity when Mrs.Nana already laying the foundation for learning content Mrs.Nana will makes a group to give some activity. the activity will be from base learning in the lesson and it will take around
30-50 minutes. In the activity, class have 4 or 5 groups and make shape geometry with matchstick to present the results in front of class and you'll see the differences between each group after present we have something like a Q&A question and answer and summarize to done of class
Teaching Practice
their week In the class, I have divided into 3 teaching periods: 1. Opening teaching I have to say hi to students and tell everyone
what session we learned and benefited from today. the class has to lay the foundation for mathematics. 2. In Main periods I have to break groups for 3 or 4 people and we'll start the main session I have an activity to give students to do because the class in Indonesia teaches problem-based learning and when students finish the activity they have to present about math problem or choice in the front of class 3. Closing We have summarized together, and class has been done.
Time management
I have 40x2 or 80 minutes to teach the class.
first 20 minutes: Talk and foundation for mathematics
first 35 minutes: Guiding and break group to give activity
first 15 minutes: Q&A time to answer and student present in the front of the class
last 10 minutes: Closing activity and has been done in class
Classroom management
Students have active learning and excited when I taught then I just speak with the students to draw students attention and the class have an activity that makes student interested.
Summary and Suggestions about Practicum
In my opinion purposes of practicum I'm hope to improve myself about language ,
teaching skill and learn different skill teacher with different county and
of couse I'm sure I improved with that in my purposes because I did observe , Teaching plan , lesson plan , Teaching in the class and it so different in Thailand student not same as Indonesia student about language and characteristic like a challenge because i never did a lesson plan and how you teach a different teaching system different students but it a good challenge .I made it through to improve myself and I love students and teacher in Indonesia. they ready to support and warm take care to me

SMP 2 SEMARANG
I just wrote a blog to share my experience in the Indonesia exchange. People in there so kids and I have a nice travel nice students. I don't have an idea why you don't join a sea teacher program and I hope those who wanna join this program will improve themselves like me
